Kitchen garden walls west

Kitchen garden walls. Early C19 probably contemporary with the remodelling
of Bradridge qv, and therefore circa 1830. Local slate rubble, more finely
dressed to the front (south) wall facing the flower garden and drive and
with slate caping.
Rectangular in plan with gateway to right (east) side leading to rear
courtyard and front gateway leading to main garden.
The front wall has pilaster strips and is lower. The side walls ramp up to
the rear wall which is higher.
It is still in use as a kitchen garden (1986)
