Thorpe Farmhouse, Thorpe Farm Cottage and barn adjoining

2 houses and barn. Mid C18 with late C18 additions. Calciferous sandstone
ashlar with string course, eaves cornice and V-jointed quoins. Graduated
greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers; ashlar chimney stacks.
Extension has red sandstone rubble walls, under graduated greenslate roof with
left coped gable and kneeler; ashlar chimney stack. Barn of mixed red and
calciferous sandstone rubble under graduated greenslate roof. House has centre
C20 door in bolection architrave under pediment on console brackets. Sash
windows in stone architraves. Extension, now Thorpe Farm Cottage, has C20 door
and sash windows with glazing bars in stone surrounds. Barn has plank door and
blank front wall with right pent extension.
