north of Crossleigh

Cross base and shaft, bearing C19 inscription and date on renewed shaft:
B M C 1331. 2 steps up are C19 renewal. Large rectangular block with socket is
original, with stop-chamfers to corners. C18 shaft c4 ft high has chamfered
corners and conical finial, probably once topped by ball.
