Farmhouse and barn. Mid C17. Painted rendered walls with projecting eaves
stones, on large plinth stones, under graduated greenslate roof with large
square stone chimney stack. 2 storeys, 4 bays with barn to right under common
roof and C19 kitchen extension to rear, forming overall L-shape. C17 studded
plank door within C17 stone porch with side seats and small openings.
Yorkshire-sash windows with glazing bars in plain reveals and smaller firewindow
on ground-floor left. Barn has plank doors and C20 glazed openings, under slit
vents. Rear has slate steps to loft doorway. Interior has beamed ground-floor
ceilings, inglenook with heck partition, chamfered firebeam and hood. Half
doorway on landing is probably C18.
