3 houses now 2 houses. Dated and inscribed over doorway A. & M.I. 1726, with
C19 alterations. Roughcast walls under graduated greenslate roof with roughcast
and yellow brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays each, with former 2-bay
house in centre now forming part of Dale View. This part has 2 C20 doors and
sash windows in C19 painted stone surrounds. Left part has 2 plank doors in
chamfered surrounds, that to left with dated and inscribed lintel. Sash windows
with glazing bars in C20 cement surrounds covering original surrounds. Small
fire window to left of second doorway. Hamp Garth has C20 door in painted stone
surround within C20 roughcast porch. C20 casement windows in C18 painted
chamfered surrounds. Extension to left and rear of Hemp Garth is not of
interest.
