Mid-late C17 cottage of three bays extended in C19 by one room
to east and wing at the rear. Timber framed, rendered with
rebuilt west gable end and extensions of brick. Tiled roof with
ridge stack and end stack. One storey and attics. Three
dormers. Three windows and early C19 pedimented doorway at
ground floor. Four panelled door with fanlight. Interior. The
centre bay has original floor framing exposed, but the inglenook
hearth although on the original site has been rebuilt. The room
to the west originally the kitchen has a chamfered and stopped
main beam. The inglenook is later. There is a cellar beneath
this room. Part of the original roof is intact.
