Outhouse c.10m to North
East of Down Hall

GV II

Outhouse, formerly a bakehouse and brewhouse or curing house. Late C17 with
C19 alterations. Timber-framed and plastered with painted brick and weather
boarded extension to south-west. Plain tiled roofs. Inserted C19 brick stack
with baking oven. Smoke blackened rafters. (qv Road Farmhouse,
Shingay-cum-Wendy, Cambs). Two doors to south-west.
