railings to
Chrishall Grange
GV II*
Pedestrian gates and railings. Early C18. Wrought iron mounted on limestone
copings to low red brick walls. Pair of gates with cornice and overthrow of
S and C scrolls with waterleaves; square sectioned rails with dog rail of
arrow heads. Gate piers and corner piers with finials and similar S and C
decoration. Square sectioned railings with main verticals dividing five
'bays' flanking gates in south boundary and six 'bays' to east boundary
(single garden gate to west c.10 feet from house with similar details).
