Cottage. Late old-early C17, extended by one bay to north east end probably
late in C17 or C18. Timber framed, rendered and long straw thatch with two
single flue ridge stacks. Three bays and baffle entry, extended by one bay.
One storey and attic. South east wall has one gable dormer and two C19 iron
frame casements. The baffle entry doorway has been sealed. North west wall,
one full gable dormer. Three modern casements and two doorways, one probably
dating from late C17 or C18 addition. Interior: wall and ceiling frames of
heavy scantling with uniform studwork. Joists laid flat and unchamfered.
Original clasped side purlin roof.
