House, formerly a public house. Early C19. Flint rubble with gault brick
quoins. Slated roof, brick gable end stacks. Two storeys with outshut.
Three 'bays' with central entrance recently blocked by insertion of window,
but retaining original opening. Two ground floor and three first floor large
horizontal sliding sash windows in segmental brick arches. Wrought iron inn
sign to right hand corner. The house was The Princess (later Prince) of
Wales PH, opened by 1896 and closed c.1963. Included for group value.
