Cottage, mid-late C17 with adjoining barn on north of similar date, forming an
L-plan. Red brick, painted white, English bond, part repaired, on plinth. Thatched
roof and tumbled brickwork to parapets at gable ends and between cottage and barn.
The parapets are shaped at the apex. Ridge stack. One storey and attics. One gabled
dormer to cottage and a window and doorway at ground floor. The barn has a dormer
with boarded opening probably to a hayloft or granary. The brickwork of the window
arches is similar to that of Black Horse Cottage, Elm.
