Farmhouse. C17 and early C18 with mid-c19 additions. Box
timber framing with brick nogging and red brick with brick
dressings, plinth and dentilled eaves band. Plain tile roofs,
with brick coped gables and large central brick ridge stack to
rear. Single storey plus garrets, two bays. South elevation
has central doorcase with C20 glazed door under cambered head.
To either side 3-light casement windows, also under cambered
heads. Gable walls have casement garret windows under segment
heads. Rear wing has central timber frame section with mid-C19
additions to either side. Interior has inglenook fireplaces to
southern rooms and a straight staircase between walls. The
timber framed section has high beams and low ceilings.
