SK 19 69 PARISH OF ASHFORD IN THE WATER GREAVES LANE

House. Early C19, possibly with earlier core. Coursed limestone rubble,
gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone slate roof. Stone gable end and ridge
stacks. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Two storeys, two bays,
L-plan. South elevation has advanced bay to east with centrally placed glazing
bar sash in plain surround. Similar window to west wall. Doorcase with stepped
architrave and moulded cornice to west. C19 glazed and panelled door. Glazing
bar sash in plain surround to side. Above, similar window to eaves and eastern gable
wall. Rear transomed stair window to east with original leaded lights.
