outbuilding to north-
west of Hill House

Farmhouse and adjoining outbuilding, now house. Probably early C18. Cement
render over red sandstone rubble; sandstone slate roof repaired with Welsh
slate; brick chimney stacks; outbuilding of similar details with whitewashed
walls. 2 storeys, 3 bays; lower outbuilding to right. Plank door in painted
stone surround forms entrance through outbuilding. Double sash window with
glazing bars to right, sash window with glazing bars to left. Central upper
floor window and window to right have traces of removed central stone mullion.
Sash window with glazing bars to left. Outbuilding has stone sink built into
wall right of entrance. Slit vents. Outshut to right with plank door was
probably washhouse. End wall has external stone steps to loft door.
Outbuildings to left are not of interest. Derelict at time of survey.
