outbuilding

House and outbuilding. Probably late C17 or early C18 with later alterations.
Roughcast stone rubble with slate roofs. West elevation of 2 storeys and
3 bays. Windows enlarged in C20, with casement windows; dripstones over.
Central entrance in gabled porch. Gable-end stacks. Returns have attic lights
with wooden-chamfered-mullioned windows of 2 lights, those to south return with
transom. Gabled wing to rear has varied fenestration, some small-paned glazing,
and gable-end stack. Outbuilding has 2 entrances, one with paired doors, and
small window to west; outshut under lean-to roof to east. Interior has
chamfered beams. Remaining plank and muntin partitioning has moulded muntins.
Round-headed cupboard, and court cupboard in recess. Stair has square newels,
turned balusters and moulded handrail, dog gates. Most doors have 2 panels.
