Opposite the Co-operative Store and part of the group. Probably mid-Cl9,
altered. 3 storeys. Broad squat portico of 2 round Roman Doric columns with
cornice. 3 12-paned sash windows on ground floor, and 4 sashes on each upper
floor with glazing bars removed. Taller 3 storey wing to right is later
and has 2 windows each floor. Cornice on paired brackets. Corner pilasters.
Large round hood over blocked entrance to right. Strand Street facade mostly
modern.

Nos 4, 5, the Co-operative Store, Whittle's Furniture store, The Globe Hotel,
Nos 105 and 105A form a group.
