Lodge for Holme Eden Abbey. 1833-37 for Peter Dixon. Red sandstone ashlar
walls, graduated slate roof, stone chimney stacks. One storey, 3 bays.
Enclosed gabled porch has moulded entrance surround with panel above for
coat-of-arms: oak plank door with mullioned fanlight. Casement windows with
square leaded lights, have chamfered surrounds and hood-moulds. Listing
includes contemporary extension to rear.
