SP55NW Church Farm, small stable to
4/53 N of forecourt and attached
18/01/68 wall

stable at Charwelton House)
GV II
Stable. Early C18. Coursed squared ironstone, old tile roof. One storey and
loft; 2-window range. Front to forecourt has 2 blocked windows with timber
lintels. Plinth, quoins and hipped roof. Blocked door to right side has timber
lintel. C19 openings to rear with blue brick relieving arches, outside stair to
hay-loft door which has hipped dormer roof. One hipped dormer to left side
elevation. Attached quadrant wall to left side forms part of a formal
composition with Church Farmhouse (q.v.) and Gardener's Cottage (q.v.) across
forecourt.
