Tall square red brick house facing down the angle of Middle Street. Probably circa
1700. Rainwater head has initials I.T.D, but no date. Parapets. 3 windows to each
of ruin sides. Sashes with wide flush frames, 2 round-headed windows on ground
floor. Later C18 Tuscan doorcase with traceried fanlight. Interior has good oak
panelled rooms circa 1700 and a staircase with panelled dado. 2 storey extension
to left. Pair of tall gatepiers on street to right.

All the listed buildings on south side of Middle Street form a good group with
No 13 Canon Street. No 12 also forms a group with Nos l3 and 14 Middle Street
(North Side) (No 14 being a building of local interest).
