GV II

Gateway and front boundary wall. C18. Local stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings. Walling averages one metre high,
with shallow ashlar coping, with return along south boundary: towards north end of wall pair gate piers in Ham stone
ashlar; square plan, cornice caps, steps, necks and large ball finials, C20 gate between. The whole adds considerably
to the setting of Dewdney's House (q.v.) and to the streetscene generally of this small hamlet.
