14/16 Spring Meadow

House formerly farmhouse. Dated 1681. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble,
corrugated asbestos roof, brick end stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic;
2-window range. Central 6-panel part-glazed door in moulded wood surround with
timber lintel and segmental iron hood on iron brackets. Datestone above
inscribed IZP/1681. Old 3-light casements to ground and first floors with timber
lintels. Ironstone quoins, and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Wing to rear
right has 6-pane horned sash windows with brick jambs and stone-coped gable with
kneelers. Interior has chamfered spine beams; dog-leg staircase with turned
balusters; 4-centred-arched stone corner fireplace with cut spandrels;
bolection-moulded stone corner fireplace upstairs; stone cellar.
