Terraced house, to the rear of and not including an altered
C19 shop built out over the forecourt. Mid C17, rear facade
rebuilt c1960 and interior altered. Timber-framed with stucco
front. Tiled hipped roof with dormers and central brick
chimney-stack. 2 storeys 3 windows. Altered doorway with
panelled approach from side entrance. Slightly recessed sashes
with exposed boxing. Renovated wooden cornice.
INTERIOR: not inspected but noted to retain some original
panelling, chamfered floor beams with stops and original roof
timbers. Original staircase survived until 1960.
HISTORICAL NOTE: known to have been part of the Three Tuns Inn
c1721.
