Villa. c1831 with later alterations including those of c1990.
Probably by William Thomas. Pinkish-brown brick in English
Garden Wall bond to sides and rear with painted stucco front
facade and Welsh slate roof. Central hallway plan.
2 storeys 3-window range. Quoins to angles.
Entrance: cambered-arched opening with tooled architrave,
within recess a 4-panel door between margin lights with
overlight. Tall, tripartite windows with side-lights, blind
boxes. Stepped first-floor band. 4-pane windows above. Dentil,
egg-and-dart and modillion cornice. Blocking course with
rod-on-ball balusters. End stacks. Doric screen to left
adjoins No.33 (qv).
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Beauchamp Avenue was laid out as Beauchamp
Terrace c1828-31, most of the north side was built by 1838.
Forms a group with Nos 27-33 (odd) and 37, 39 and 41 (qqv)
Beauchamp Avenue.
