2 cottages and possibly originally 2 agricultural buildings,
now public house. c1700 with later additions and alterations.
Timber-framing with painted brick infill, painted brick stacks
and plain-tile roof. L-shaped on plan. Regular panels of small
square timber-framing.
EXTERIOR: single-storey with attics, 4:1 attic gables.
Entrance to rear: part-glazed door. Casement windows
throughout. 2 internal stacks to south range, ridge stack to
left range, cornices.
INTERIOR: has exposed timber-framing.
Forms a group with Pound cottage, Alcester Road (qv) and
Hawthornes, Stratford Road (qv).
