Small barn. Probably C18. Mixed rubble with quoins, roofs of
stone slate and slate. L-plan on axes diagonal to house.
South-east range has added outshut at left corner, wagon
doorway to right protected by cast-iron roof bridging from
outshut to other range, oblong window to left. North-east
range has large square-headed doorway in re-entrant side, and
loading door in gable wall altered as window.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Forms group with Gawthrop Hall (qv);
included as part of a significant farmstead site.
Formerly listed as "Barn to south-west" in error.
