Barn approx. 30m south of Dandra
Garth

Bank barn. Probably C18. Coursed sandstone rubble with quoins,
stone slate roof. Rectangular plan on east-west axis facing
north, parallel to slope, with rear to higher ground. Two low
storeys and probably 3 structural bays. The north front has a
segmental-headed wagon doorway offset slightly left, with
rubble voussoirs and a drip-band, and a square-headed doorway
to the left. The rear has a loft doorway near the east corner
and 2 rectangular unglazed windows. INTERIOR includes one roof
truss made of re-used cruck blades.
Forms group with Dandra Garth (qv), and with barn approx. 60m
south-west of Dandra Garth (qv).
