GV II

House. C17 origins, partly timber-framed; C20 rebuilding of
upper floors at front. Red brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile
hipped roof; brick stack on left. 3 storeys, 1 wide bay (3 1st
floor windows). C20 door and window on right and garage door
to left set in early C19 shop front which has Doric half
columns flanking right-hand window, frieze and bracketed
cornice. C20 casement windows to first and second floors.
Coped parapet. Rear has stone rubble and brick wall; sash and
casement windows.
INTERIOR: close studding framing in passage wall with red
brick infill panels, probably mid C17. Small panel of wattle
and daub on first floor.
Included for its surviving C17 internal features.
