Description

Dated 1879. Single storey lodge. Rubble-built with
contrasting red ashlar dressings; windows mullioned/
nullioned and transomed. Roughly T-plan, bowed south end
with cross windows; roof curved over latter and swept over
flanking single bays, porch in east re-entrant angle;
(wider) remaining bay on south elevation has 3-light
window; low roof returns north along west gable, and is
raised over side door. Relieving arch and datestone over
east gable window, cusped-headed porch bipartite alongside
timber shafts support open outer porch). Splayed cill
course. Coped tall, bull-faced ashlar ridge stack
(individual flues); bracketted eaves; roofed with graded
slates, Low outshot to north.
