Probably Archibald Simpson, circa 1840. Single span
bridge; mainly tooled ashlar with some rubble work.
Shallow segmental ashlar arch ring springing from ashlar
abutments; rectangular end piers with panelled face linked
by band course and ashlar parapet; splayed approaches.
Approximate span: 25'.
Glassaugh House re-cast to S and much enlarged in 1840
(architect, Archibald Simpson); new drive from E constructed
at this time necessitated bridging the Burn of Fordyce.
