Description

18th and earlier 19th cents.
A complex of buildings, comprising two houses with chapel in
between; Several additions; and out-houses at rear. Harled.
Slated roofs. HOUSES: 2 storeys and attics. Gabled. Porches.
Good interiors. Kitchen wing to south. CHAPEL: Gabled to
front. Bird-cage belfry with ball finial. Bay window. Now
converted into dining-room. OUTHOUSES: 1 and 2 storeys.
Piended and lean-to roofs.

Statement of Interest

Occupied by Catholic seminary 1801-31. Chapel was repaired

and occupied by United Secession from 1840 until 1845 when

the present church was built. Interiors of houses have been

renovated.
