Description

Circa 1845. Long, 10-bay steading range, orientated NW-SE, possibly extended later, with off-centre 2-stage entrance tower with pend, loft and dovecot. Roughly squared, coursed rubble with stugged ashlar dressings.

TOWER: broad segmental-arched pend to cattle courts, Venetian window above, recessed panel to gablehead with flight holes, apex stack. Small windows close under eaves to flanking ranges, some blocked doorways.

Sash and case windows; glazed upper, slatted lower sashes. Grey slates, coped ashlar skews and stacks.
