Description

1846. Oblong. Random rubble. Rough coping. Gable (with mural tablet) at W end.

Statement of Interest

Contains bodies of Macdonalds murdered 1647 after siege of Dunaverty Castle by Covenanters. Castle was dismantled 1685 and there are now only fragmentary remains.
