Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay miller's house (with 1st floor breaking eaves). Squared coursed and pinned (cherry-cocked) rubble, stugged ashlar dressings. Door to centre with 6-pane fanlight. Windows flanking at ground. 3 windows to 1st floor, small at centre, outer windows enlarged and raised to break eaves in gabled wooden dormerheads. Lean-to additions and outbuildings at rear. Small firebox opening to S gable. Sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing pattern. Ashlar coped skews, ridge and stacks; graded grey slates.

Statement of Interest

Underground access to W to icehouse or cellar. Mill with weir in valley to SW. Alterations to rear approved, 1992.
