Description

Mid 19th century incorporating work of circa 1800. 2-storey and dormerless attic, 4-bay house. Coursed tooled granite frontage and margins. Painted ashlar consoled and corniced doorpiece with fluted pilasters. Later garage door at left and pend entrance in extreme left. Regular fenestration with plate glass timber sash and case glazing.

End and ridge coped stacks; slate roof with modern Velux lights.

GARDEN WALLS: rear garden enclosed with rubble walls.

Statement of Interest

Though stone frontage is perfectly matched, the coursing is slightly different in parts of the extreme left of this 4-bay house: the left end chimney stack has an early l9th century cope, while the centre and right stacks are of mid 19th century type.
