Description

Later 19th century, 2-storey, 3-bay villa. Coursed red sandstone
rubble with channelled quoins. Central Ionic porch fronts
tripartite doorpiece with glazed sidelights, flanked by
canted and pilastered windows each with stilted lintel, plain
cornice and blocking course. 1st floor bipartites in outer
bays with pilaster mullions, single central window; all sash
and case. 1st floor level band course encircles building
and links cornices of porch and canted windows; heavily
modillioned cornice. 2 windows in each floor on end elevations.
Piended slate roof, corniced end stacks. Chamfered corniced
gatepiers to pedestrian and carriage gates with low pyramid
caps and crowns.
