Description

Earlier 19th century. Picturesque cottage at gates to Cally House (see separate item in Girthon Parish). 2-storey, 3-bay frontage, painted rubble. Central gabled single storey porch, good original door with 3 trefoil headed panels. Windows all bipartite mullioned and transomed with lattice panel glazing. Deeply overhanging timber bracketted eaves, axial stacks. Slate tile roof. To rear, single storey piend-roofed painted rubble wing.

GATEPIERS AND WALLS: pair of squared granite gatepiers with ball finials. Long rubble waLL running from gate to Cally Estate Office, listed above.
