Description

Late 19th/early 20th century. 3-storey tenement with 2
short return elevations, shops at ground, free-style
renaissance ornament above; stone-cleaned polished
ashlar, blocked architraves at 1st floor with shaped
window heads. Composed of 2 ranges, symmetrical in
design but stepped to slope; above ground floor, bays
have either bipartites or shallow canted windows (all
plate glass sashes), recessed canted corner bays, that
to Kenmure Street (ie E) retains polygonal steep-pitched
and slated roof (that range all still slated; westmost
range has modern roof); stacks at wall-head and also set
below apices.
