Description

W G Rowan, 1893-4, as Cathcart Free Church. Decorated gothic church with plainer hall adjoining, both with gabled front to street. Bull-faced ashlar, polished dressings, slate roofs.

CHURCH; has elaborately pinnacled buttressed front, centre door with large traceried window over, flanking projecting stair turrets; axial ventilator.

HALL: also has traceried gable window to street, porch in re-entrant angle.

Crenellated boundary wall to street.

Statement of Interest

Ecclesiastical building in use as such. Memorial stone laid 8 April 1893.
