Description

Built 1915 as airfield building. Single storey and timber-built, long rectangular-plan with gabled wing off-centre to East, outshot to West. metal-framed windows; felt roof. Used as Station HQ during World War 2.

Montrose is the oldest military airfield in Scotland being in use from 1912.
