Description

Earlier 19th century in present form. Coped rubble retaining wall; railings; spear finials; steps at E end; ramp at W end.

Statement of Interest

Before the construction of this wall the area was vaults, and on the 1st edition OS map is referred to as such. There are still vaults beneath the terrace although no longer used by the residents of the properties. This wall, along with the ones that run along East and West Terraces, is a distinguishing feature of the Queensferry townscape.
