columns, fluted, with niches between. Bull-faced masonry
ashlar parapets. Similar in design to Inchinnan Bridge
adjoining at right angles to it; both bridges 1812 cost
$17,000, engineer Robertson Buchanan CE (Memoir of Thomas
Binnie; privately published Glasgow; gives completion
date early 1811 and contractor Kenneth Mathieson).
