Description

Circa 1870. Traditional, symmetrical row of 6 farm cottages, single storey, each of 3 bays. Squared and snecked sandstone rubble, dressings stugged and droved, chamfered reveals. Eaves course corbelled, with dentils. Each unit with piended outshot to rear, with door and 2 windows.

Front doors plain boarded with tripartite letterbox fanlight. Windows timber sash and case, 12-pane. Red pantiled roof, moulded ashlar skews. 7 brick stacks to gable and ridge, coped, 3 plain cans.

GATEWAY: decorative gates and gatepiers in white-painted timber paling, with adjacent fence.
