History

C18. RCAHMW records an inscription of 1773.

Exterior

Thatched cottage. Of limewashed and painted stone rubble; steep-pitched roof with end stacks. Two storeys to main unit, with single storey wing with attic to left. Two-window range of small lattice casements under painted wood lintels to both wings. Central doorway, a porch created by the thatch roof extending forward in a notable nose-shape; boarded door. Small forward extension to front right. Rear of main range is not limewashed.

Interior

Interior retains open fireplace with stairs beside, chamfered unblackened cross-beams and exposed joists.

Listed as an C18 cottage retaining its historic fabric including a thatched roof.
