Listing Text

SX8042 Rose Cottage


Small house. Circa early Cl9 slate rubble. Slate roof with gabled ends and
ogee cast iron gutters. Stone rubble gable end stacks the left hand
Plan: 2 principal front rooms with a central entrance, possibly with
smaller service rooms at the back.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical. 3-window south front. All C20 12-pane
sashes in original opens with cambered stone arches and slate sills.
Central doorway with C19 panelled and glazed door and C20 glazed porch.
Rear elevation not inspected.
Interior: Not accessible at time of survey in 1988.
