Pair of cottages, possibly originally one house. Circa C17. Roughcast stone rubble
and cob. Thatched roof with half-hipped and hipped ends, and eyebrow eaves. Two
storeys. Long four/five window range. C19 and C20 two-light casements with glazing
bars. Two C19 and C20 doors. Roughcast stone chimney stack projecting on front wall
to left of centre. No 48 has two rendered chimney stacks on rear wall, now within
outshut which has catslide thatched roof. No. 47 has C20 rear wing.
