Barn converted into a house. C18. Rough ashlar with chamfered plinth. Steeply
pitched slate roof with gabled ends. Ball finials over gable ends. Two tiers of
ventilation slits. Central gabled midstrey also with ball finial and with round
pitching eyes with keystones complete with moulded cornices. Similar keystones to
rectangular window in gable apex. Cart entrance below with segmental arch with
keystone and monolithic granite jambs. Above the cartway a round-arched tablet
bearing the Calmady arms and date 17--within a moulded architrave. Large
segmentally arched loft doorway in gable end. Much altered at rear with C20
fenestration and balcony.
