Two adjoining houses. Torr House was built in 1792. Stuccoed stone rubble. Slate
hipped roof with wide eaves. Two storeys. Three bays. Sash windows with glazing
bars, ground floor with margin lights. Central doorway with C20 pilastered doorcase
with arched hood over fanlight. Inner door has original traceried fanlight.
Interior: contemporary moulded plaster cornices and friezes, chimneypieces and
staircase with elliptical arch in hall.
Higher Torr Farmhouse adjoining at east. Circa C18, rendered rubble. Slate roof
with hipped and gabled ends. Two parallel ranges with gables at east end. Two
storeys. Various sashes and casements.
