SX 85 NE STOKE GABRIEL

Boathouse with room above on the former Sandridge Park qv overlooking the River
Dart.Circa mid C19. Picturesque rustic design. Stone rubble. Cedar shingle
roof probably originally thatched, with gabled end to river and oversailing
eaves. The gable end is supported on rustic brackets with
wooden balustrade to first floor over the boat house which is at beach level.
Two storeys and attic. Attic casement in gabled end. Stone rubble chimney stack
on side and at rear gable.
