SX 8457 STOKE GABRIEL PAIGNTON ROAD

House, formerly a farmhouse. Circa C17 house, remodelled in circa early C19.
Whitewashed stone rubble. Slate roof with gabled ends. Long range with back to
road. Two storeys. Five window range. Sashes with glazing bars, ground floor
tripartite sashes. Left hand three-light casements with glazing bars. To
right-hand a glazed and panelled door and C20 glazed porch. Left hand C20 glazed
door. Four large stone chimney stacks, three on rear wall and one at west gable
end with set offs. Short parallel wing at rear circa early C19, and rear outshuts.
Interior plain early C19 staircase.
