The second and third sentence of the description for the above
property shall be amended to read:- C18. Forehouse rebuilt and
converted into dwelling 1988/9 (not of special architectural or
historic interest).

Three integral limekilns. C18; forehouse rebuilt and converted into
dwelling 1988/9. Slatestone rubble walls with crenellated parapet.
Two limekilns opening at the front (into forehouse) and one on the
right-hand return wall. Each has arched opening with flattened head
at the front of small chamber. Forehouse built onto front wall,
representing a rebuilding of an earlier stone forehouse. These kilns
are probably of mid C18 date, and formed part of the Marquis of
Northampton's estate.

parapet. 2 limekilns opening at the front and one on the right-hand return wall.
Each has arched opening with flattened head at the front of small chamber. Late
C20 wooden shed built onto front wall. Set in a prominent location overlooking
Kingsbridge estuary and visible from the town.
